Max is an awesome Labrador Retriever that came to us for dog aggression training from Los Angeles, CA 90001. Max was a little nervous when he was a puppy, but with the proper socialization and training, he is a social dog now!
Max came into our dog aggression boot camp training program from Los Angeles. He was a very sweet and playful puppy, but was unsure of people he didn’t know; he would growl, bark, and even snarl sometimes. Often times when we see dogs like this, especially young dogs, we want to look at the dog’s character and not the dog’s behavior. It is very important from a training perspective to understand the difference between dogs that have genetic aggression and dogs that are a little fearful and can be helped. In both cases, you can never ‘Fix’ the dog, but you can make a lot of progress.
The problem with a lot of Los Angeles dog trainers these days, is that they do not know the difference, and they treat both dogs the same way. Many Los Angeles dog trainers do not have the skills it takes to help dogs like this, and they are not confident enough to let a client know what they are truly up against.
