Max is an awesome Labrador Retriever that came to us for dog aggression training from Los Angeles, CA 90001. Max was a little nervous when he was a puppy, but with the proper socialization and training, he is a social dog now!
Max came into our dog aggression boot camp training program from Los Angeles. He was a very sweet and playful puppy, but was unsure of people he didn’t know; he would growl, bark, and even snarl sometimes. Often times when we see dogs like this, especially young dogs, we want to look at the dog’s character and not the dog’s behavior. It is very important from a training perspective to understand the difference between dogs that have genetic aggression and dogs that are a little fearful and can be helped. In both cases, you can never ‘Fix’ the dog, but you can make a lot of progress.
The problem with a lot of Los Angeles dog trainers these days, is that they do not know the difference, and they treat both dogs the same way. Many Los Angeles dog trainers do not have the skills it takes to help dogs like this, and they are not confident enough to let a client know what they are truly up against. I have always prided myself on being an honest and straight forward Los Angeles dog trainer!
Dog aggression training is a very popular training program throughout the Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Culver City areas.

As Max has matured, he has become a more friendly and social dog. Max even goes to dog day care and has a dog play group that he meets with at the park. I am super happy for his owner that she can now spend more quality time with the big goofy guy. Max has been a favorite of ours for quite some time! We still get Max back from time to time for some extra training and for boarding services. We are always super happy to have Max back and to spend some time with such a cool dog.
