about this santa monica dog training boot camp client

Mowgli is an awesome big guy from the beachfront city of Santa Monica, Ca 90405, one of the many cities we offer our dog aggression training and doggy boot camp programs to. Mowgli was sent to us at K-9 Behavior Services for our doggy boot camp program to learn some basic obedience. Mowgli is a 10 month old male, Rottweiler mix, with a brindle coat that has a hint of white in his chest.

When Mowgli arrived at the K-9 Behavior Services ranch, he was a pretty easy going guy. He looks intimidating, but he allowed our staff to handle him without any issues. He also didn’t show aggression toward any dogs around him. But he had a bit of a barking problem here and there. What Mowgli liked to do is bark when nobody was around. If a staff member left the room or a kennel area, every now and then he would start barking. Having a dog bark is a problem here because it tends to get more dogs riled up, and they will start barking also. It’s natural for dogs to bark, but when a dog barks all the time, or barks aggressively towards something or someone, that’s usually one of the reasons they come to us for training.

Dog aggression training is a very popular training program throughout the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Ventura County areas.

Mowgli is a very good dog, but training him was a bit tricky starting out. He’s a bit head strong, and that came into play a few times during training. Sometimes he was easily distracted by certain things in the first few sessions. If someone walked by or if there was any movement nearby, he would tend to try to focus on that instead of working. But once he got the hang of it, he was willing to try hard, push his attitude aside, and excel in his obedience training. Some dogs get the training down, and then tend to slack off if they don’t feel like doing it further down the line. But Mowgli never slacked off, he was always ready to show off!

Mowgli was an awesome dog to have at our ranch, it was our pleasure to work with him and teach him how to dig up those manners he always knew he had. He went above and beyond to show us he could handle our doggy boot camp program, and now he’s got a nice set of obedience skills he can reflect on whenever he needs to behave. He has a never give up, winning attitude, and we hope he stays that way. From all of us at K-9 Behavior Services, nice work Mowgli!

This dog aggression training program is offered in other cities such as Las Vegas, Henderson, Manhattan, New York City, Miami, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, San Diego County, Del Mar, La Jolla, Riverside County, the Inland Empire, Sacramento, the Bay Area, and San Francisco.
