Minnie is a cute little French Bulldog that came to us from Northridge. Minnie definitely had some aggression issues, and did not like anybody getting too close to her. Minnie completed our board and train program and really learned tolerance and impulse control.

Minnie is a cute and energetic French Bulldog from the community of Northridge in Los Angeles, CA 91324. She came to us for our dog aggression training program. She is small, but very muscular, and she didn’t like anything or anyone getting too close to her.
Minnie is a changed dog, when she arrived, she was clawing and trying to bite anyone who dared walk by her crate. Putting a leash on her required using a pole as to not get bitten. She is a small dog, but she would try to jump and bite those walking her. We managed to get her under control, and now all of our handlers are able to reach into her crate and leash her up, pole-free. She walks patiently and waits at doors and other boundaries until we allow her to walk through them. Minnie also used to growl at other dogs as they pass, but now she can remain calm and collected and control the aggression that used to take over.

Minnie will soon be completing the dog aggression training program, and everyday she is one step closer to being back home with her owners. The change in Minnie is jaw-dropping, from being nearly uncontrollable and highly aggressive, to now being able to listen to commands and have people playfully interact with her.
Minnie is a perfect example of how an aggressive dog can be worked with, and ultimately saved by training, instead of given to a shelter or having to be put down. The standard basic dog training obedience commands to be taught will be as follows, all commands will be worked under heavy distractions, success of all programs is based on the client’s ability and willingness to follow the program…

~ Down
~ Come Here (Recall)
~ Boundaries (No bolting in or out of doors and gates)
~ Heel (Walking nicely on a leash)
~ Place (Go to bed, lay down, and stay, until released)
~ No (Discipline for all undesired behaviors, such as jumping on people, barking excessively, digging, chewing, etc.)
~ Potty training (A foundation will be set, you must continue the potty training at home to be successful!)
~ Any additional commands can be discussed and incorporated, depending on the client’s expectation. An additional fee may be added.
