about this studio city dog training boot camp client

Bear is a stunning young man from the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Studio City, in Los Angeles, Ca 91604. Bear came to us at K-9 Behavior Services for our doggy boot camp program, because he was a little out of control, and enjoyed jumping on everyone around him. His owners, musician Pete Wentz and girlfriend Meagen Camper, felt he was a little too out of control, and needed help getting him to behave.

Bear is an 18 month old Vizsla, and a very friendly guy. He’s a bundle of excitement, and always happy to please our handlers and trainers. He had a little bit of trouble adjusting to calming down and walking patiently, rather than forging and getting too excited. Once he got used to heeling properly he cruised around beside his handlers like a pro. Vizsla’s can be known to be pretty vocal, which he was. He barked on and off when he arrived, either from boredom or excitement, but he never showed signs of aggression or barked at neighboring dogs.

Doggy boot camp is a very popular training program throughout the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Ventura County areas.

Bear did an amazing job in his obedience training and caught on quickly to our program. Vizsla’s are natural hunting dogs, which could be why he was so attentive and alert. It’s important to get any dog Bear’s size under control and not allow him to walk all over you. Even though a dog is playful and not aggressive, if the playing gets too rough, someone could end up injured, be it a person or another animal. Bear is a wonderful guy, and he’s always ready to learn new training skills and work hard at them. He’s a perfect example of a good-natured dog who needed guidance on how to behave around people. We at K-9 Behavior Services are glad to see him return home with his new set of skills! Bear has a great personality, and he was a pleasure to work with. It took a little effort, but he dug deep and found all those manners he had hidden all this time! Nice job Bear!

This doggy boot camp is offered in other cities such as Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Miami, Palm Beach, Broward, Miami Dade, Boca Raton, Sacramento, the Bay Area, and San Francisco.
